Thinning hair? Dry, itchy scalp?

theselfcareshopco

Hair loss is multifactorial and the underlying issues can involve:

  • vitamin/mineral deficiency

  • hormone imbalance/changes

  • genetics

  • stress

  • age

  • medications

  • autoimmune disease (alopecia)

  • unhealthy scalp

Depending on the underlying illness (we need a consultation!), I can help your hair grow back thicker and healthier than ever before. I have many options that can be packaged into your own personal treatment plan. These options include:

  • HydraFacial® Keravive

  • PRP with microneedling of the scalp

  • PRP injections in the scalp

  • IV nutrition to replace deficient vitamins/minerals

The Award-winning HydraFacial® Keravive cleanses, exfoliates, and uses a specialized booster made of peptides that mimic your own body's growth factors. This option is great for those with a dry, flaky scalp, as well.

PRP, or Platelet-rich plasma, is concentrated growth factors and proteins taken from your own blood and given back to you. It stimulates your body to send healing proteins to your hair follicles which may thicken them over time.

Microneedling has been shown to stimulate hair growth by creating microtrauma to the scalp which in turn forces your body to send healing proteins to the hair follicles.

IV nutrition to increase the amounts of biotin, zinc, and glutathione in your body which are all needed for healthy, thick hair.

Typically, a combination plan is the best course of action but I need to see your scalp and ask you questions first! Unfortunately, some types of hair loss can be permanent and the above treatments will not work for you. I will be honest with you about your needs!
